Prison officers Lalith Kumara and another interdicted

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Department of Prison stated Prison Officer Lalith Kumara and another prison officer who were arrested together with "Makandure Madush" in Dubai, have been interdicted. Prisons Commissioner General J.M.J.W. Tennakoon noted that the measure was taken considering they had vacated their positions and left their service. Nadeemal Perera, the son of the singer Amal Perera, and Lalith Kumara were deported from Dubai and returned to the island yesterday(March 27). Nadeemal Perera was released following a debrief by CID. "Makandure Madush", Amal Perera and the other suspects are to be produced in Dubai court today(March 28).
