COLOMBO (News 1st) – A close accomplice to the organized crime leader and large scale drug trafficker “Keselwatte Dinuka” was arrested yesterday (March 25).

The police stated that they were able to apprehend the suspect in an operation carried out in Dias Avenue, Keselwatta. He had 2.2 grams of heroin at the time of arrest.

The suspect was also wanted by the police for a murder attempt on February 17th in Keselwatta.

The 36-year-old suspect will be produced before the magistrate court today (March 26).
