Colombo (News 1st): The Sri Lanka Navy arrested three men for the possession of 1547 kilograms of beedi leaves in a search operation carried out in the Talaimannar Seas.

Navy said the beedi leaves were packed in 41 separate large bags. It is believed, the beedi leaves were being transported from India to Sri Lanka in a dinghy boat.
