Norochcholai Coal power plant: power supply disrupted

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy announced the electricity supply to several areas was disrupted following an issue in the second generator of the Norochcholai Coal-powered power plant. The media spokesperson to the ministry noted that the generator has stopped working due to a technical error and repairs are being carried out to restore the power supply.
