SL delegation to attend 40th UNHRC session

Colombo (News 1st): The Foreign Ministry says that a Sri Lankan delegation will attend the 40th sessions of the Human Rights Council which will be held in Geneva. The Ministry said that they will attend the session from the 18th to the 22nd of this month. Foreign Minister Thilak Marapana is leading the 5 member delegation from the country. MP Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Northern Province Governor Dr. Suren Raghavan, Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Solicitor General A. Nerin Pulle are the other members of the delegation. Meanwhile, the report on reconciliation and peacebuilding in Sri Lankan submitted by the office of the Human Rights High Commissioner will be considered on the 20th of this month.
