62 year old murdered in Urugasmanhandiya

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A 62-year-old person has been murdered in Urugasmanhandiya. The police said that the victim was murdered when he had attended a wedding in the area. The body was discovered lying near the house where the function was held. The manner in which the murder was carried out has not yet been identified. However, the police pointed out that there were several wounds seen on his corpse. Further investigations into the incident are underway.
