Locally manufactured firearm that uses T-56 ammunition discovered in Suriyawewa

Colombo (News 1st): The officials attached to the Walsapugala Suriyawewa Special Task Force have discovered a discarded firearm in Weniwelara, Suriyawewa. Police said the firearm which can be operated using T-56 bullets is domestically manufactured. The News 1st correspondent in the area said the firearm was also loaded with a bullet at the time of its discovery. Suriyawewa police are currently conducting further investigations.
