DRUG BUSTS: Two arrested transporting heroin for distribution in prisons

Colombo (News 1st): Two men were arrested in Mirigama for possession of heroin. The Pallewela Police made the arrests when the duo was travelling on a motorbike from Nugegoda to Kaleliya. The 10.35 grams of heroin were discovered inside the rectum of one of the suspects while 2.6 grams of heroin was discovered concealed inside the other's shoe. Police said the suspects were transporting the narcotics to be distributed in prisons and they will be produced before the Attanagalle Magistrate's Court.
