2 drug racketeers arrested in Nugegoda with cocaine

Colombo (News1st) - Two persons believed to be connected to organized criminal gangs were arrested from the Udahamulla area in Nugegoda along with 7g of Cocaine. Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara noted that the suspects were arrested last evening following a raid conducted by the STF. The suspects identified as "Rathmalane Rathu" and Vijaya are believed to be henchmen of "Rathmalane Roha. " The police believe that the arrested suspects were dealing drugs in the Mt. Lavinia and Dehiwala areas. The STF has handed over the suspects to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigations.
