Suspect arrested with conch shell valued at Rs. 03 billion

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A man has been arrested with a conch shell valued at over Rs. 30mn in Uduwara, Hali-Ela.
The arrest was made by the officials of the Uva district police special raid unit. The arrested suspect has been identified as a resident of Nawalapitiya. The police suspect that the individual was arrested when he was bringing the conch shell to Hali-Ela to be sold.
