137 regional hospitals to be developed

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Health has taken measures to develop 137 regional hospitals with poor facilities in nine districts of the Central, North Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces. Deputy Director of the Ministries health system enhancement project Dr. Sisira Liyanage noted that the development activities have already commenced. The development activities are been carried out with an aid of Rs. 60 million received by the Asian Development Bank.
