News 1st takes initiative to cultivate the next generation with moral values

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Today(February 28) News 1st launched its latest venture in public services: To nurture a righteous society by bringing the key institutes; Village, School, and Temple together. The program was launched from the Naiwala Marapola Maha Vidyalaya and the objective of the program is to raise a young generation which values unity, discipline and education. The inauguration was graced by Group Director of the Capital Maharaja Organisation Limited, Chevaan Daniel. Several other activities followed to enlighten the students on good values. DIG in charge of Western Province North Deshabandu Tennakoon lectured on discipline during the event while veteran artiste Sathischandra Edirisinghe shed light on unity.
