Three arrested for using fake credit cards

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Three suspects who used fake credit cards to purchase items from shops in various parts of the country have been taken into custody in Dambulla. Thirteen Visa credit cards from various banks were seized from their possession. The Police said that a large number of cases are currently pending against the arrested suspects in Marawila, Kandy, Matara, Galle, Mathugama, Dambulla, Kuliyapitiya courts. The arrested suspects have been identified as residents of Chilaw. They are due to be presented before the Dambulla Magistrates Court today (February 27).
