Drug smuggler sentenced to death by Colombo High Court

Colombo (News1st) - A heroin smuggler was sentenced to death today by the Colombo High Court. The suspect who was charged with drug racketeering and possession was sentenced to death by Colombo High Court Judge Sashi Mahendran.
The suspect was arrested from the Colombo 14 area on the 11th of December 2017 by the Police Narcotics Bureau along with 105g of heroin.
Indictments were filed against the suspect for being in possession of 29.43g of pure heroin.
