COLOMBO (News 1st) – In a special operation conducted by the Colombo Anti-Corruption Unit in Jampettah Street, a person connected to a number of shooting incidents has been taken into custody.

Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara noted that he had acted as the shooter for many crimes carried out by Kanjipani Imran who is currently under arrest in Dubai.

As per preliminary investigations, the 39-year-old suspect Abdul Gafoor Mohomad Rizwan is the prime suspect in four shooting incidents in 2018.
