Main associate of "Kanjipani Imran" arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The main associate of the large scale drug dealer Kanjipani Imran has been arrested in Salamulla, Kolonnawa by the Police Special Task Force. Kanjipani Imran is currently under arrest in Dubai. The 50-year-old suspect named Mohommad Nawufur Mohomad Ali was arrested in a raid conducted by the Organized Crime and Corruption Prevention Division. The police seized over 10g of heroin discovered in the suspect's possession. It was also revealed that the arrested individual was a suspect in the incident where "Kudu Chuti" was shot dead in Maligawatte. The arrested suspect is due to be produced before courts today (February 23).
