"Ala Ranji" arrested with Heroin and "Manna" knives

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Police Special Task Force arrested Ranjith Thilakaratne alias "Ala Ranji" for the possession of 3g of heroin and two "manna" knives in Gunasinghapura. The police said that the arrested suspect is a relative of Keselwatte Dinuka. He is also connected to a number of incidents involving extortion. The arrested individual is a 57-year-old resident of Colombo 12. The Police Anti-Narcotics Bureau are conducting further investigation into the incident.
