War against drugs: Arrests in Colombo 7, Bandaragama and Kelaniya

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Five suspects have been arrested for the possession of drugs from various parts of the country. Cinnamon Gardens  Two youth of 23 and 29 years of age have been arrested from "60 Waththa", Torrington Avenue, Colombo 7 with over one kilogram of Kerala Ganja, over 89g of Hashish and over 16g of ICE, narcotic pills and drug stamps. The police said that the arrest was made based on a tip-off. Bandaragama Two people were arrested at Kindelpitiya, Bandaragama while transporting 4 kg of Kerala Ganja. Kelaniya Another suspect was arrested for the possession of over 01g of ICE  from Thalwattta, Kelaniya. The arrested suspects are due to be produced before courts today February 20).
