Colombo (News 1st): During the Party leaders meeting today (Feb 20) the United National Party took a decision to appoint a committee to investigate MP’s accused of using narcotics.
The committee will be chaired by leader of the house, Minister Lakshman Kiriella. State Minister Eran Wickramaratne, MP Ashu Marasinghe and Nissanka Nanayakkara have been appointed as members of the Committee.
On February 11th State Minister Ranjan Ramanayake noted that there are cabinet ministers in this government who use cocaine.
