COLOMBO (News 1st) – A photograph of the late President’s Counsel Hemantha Warnakulasuriya, was unveiled at the library for trainee law graduates at the Magistrate’s Court premises in Hultsdorf, Colombo today (Feb 18)
The library for trainee law graduates was built in the Hultsdorf Magistrate’s Court premises in 2007, an initiative headed by the late President’s Counsel Hemantha Warnakulasuriya.
Books were also gifted to the library at the event, which was attended by judges, lawyers and the family members of the late Hemantha Warnakulasuriya.
Irangani Warnakulasuriya shared her views with the media.
She noted that Hemantha Warnakulasuriya’s library and research center was reopened today(February 18) and his expectation was to see trainee lawyers utilize the resources available in this library to enhance their knowledge.
Mihiri Warnakulasuriya, the daughter of Hemantha Warnakulasuriya noted that the library was her father’s dream and today(February 18) it has been realized. She added that her father strongly believed in education and that education completes a man. She added that her father’s memories would always remain with them.
