Government to purchase Sena-infested maize harvest

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Department of Animal Production and Health has decided to purchase maize destroyed due to the Sena caterpillars and utilize them as animal food.
Director General of the Department Dr Nihal Wedasinghe said that a price to purchase the maize will be declared next week.
