Commission to investigate Corruption receives 70 complaints within a week

Colombo (News 1st): The Presidential Commission to investigate acts of Corruption that took place over the last 4 years has already received 70 complaints. Filing of complaints began on the 8th of February. The commission has informed that they have chosen two of the complaints filed for initial investigations. The two complaints taken up include one concerning the Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy, regarding the Power Purchase and increasing Electric Capacity. In addition, a complaint has also been filed regarding corruption and malpractices that have taken place at the Sri Jayawardenapura hospital. Information or complaints can be communicated to the Commission in written form in all three languages and presented to room 210 of Block 2 at the BMICH premises in Colombo.
