Young girl at Nawaneliya oya was strangled to death

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The young girl found dead in Nawaneliya oya at Balangoda, has been strangled to death. This came to light following the post-mortem examination conducted by the judicial medical officer, K.C.T Ariyaratna of Balangoda Base hospital. Police stated that a relative of the deceased was arrested under suspicion. The young girl disappeared on February 11th and her body was yesterday (Feb 12) morning in Nawaneliya oya.
