COLOMBO (News 1st) –Three police teams have been deployed to investigate the shooting at Thanamalwila. Investigations have begun using the CCTV footage of the incident.

A 42-year-old, Wasantha alias Sudu Hakuru Sumith was killed while another 22 year old was injured in a shooting that occurred yesterday (February 10) at around 12.20 pm.

Four people who arrived on bikes had fired the shots and fled the scene. The police identified the deceased as the main suspect of a murder that took place six months ago.
