COLOMBO (News 1st) – Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said that Navy divers have begun operations to investigate into the four-year-old girl reported missing from Karuwalagaswewa, Puttalam.

The search operation has been launched in Olumaduwa, Kala Oya based on a statement given by the mother of the child.

200 police officers are currently deployed to trace the missing child. The girl, a resident of Karuwalagaswewa was reported missing on the 29th of January.
