Sena Task force to convene at Agriculture Ministry

Colombo (News1st) - The inaugural meeting of the Special Task Force appointed by President Maithripala Sirisena to combat the Sena Caterpillar menace is to take place this morning. The meeting is due to be held at the Ministry of Agriculture at 9.30am. All provincial agriculture heads, university lecturers, agro technicians and ministry officials have been summoned for the meeting. Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture Anura Wijetunge said proposals to defeat the Sena problem will be submitted during the meeting.
