Colombo (News1st): 20 people several including foreigners have been admitted to the Demodara Hospital following a wasp attack in Demodara, Ella. Police noted that they were attacked when the group was out sightseeing near the Nine Arches Bridge.

10 of the injured are foreigners. Two severe patients have been transferred to the Badulla General Hospital.
