New district leaders appointed for the SLFP

COLOMBO (News 1st) - President Maithripala Sirisena appointed several new district leaders of the SLFP last night (January 22). The appointments were made at the Presidential Secretariat. Leaders were appointed for all districts except for the Polonnaruwa, Puttalam and Monaragala districts.

• Lasantha Alagiyawanna  -  Gampaha
• Mahinda Samarasinghe -  Kalutara
• Shan Wijelal De Silva -   Galle
• S.B. Dissanayake -  Kandy
• Ranjith Siyambalapitiya - Kegalle
• Wijaya Dahanayaka - Matara
• Mahinda Amaraweera - Hambantota
• Dayasiri Jayasekara - Kurunegala
• Nimal Siripala de Silva - Badulla
• Duminda Dissanayake - Anuradhapura
• Shriyani Wijewickreme - Ampara
• Angajan Ramanathan -  Jaffna
• Lakshman Wasantha Perera - Matale

Meanwhile, Parliamentarian Mahinda Amaraweera said that the President will appoint the new SLFP organizers before the first of next month.
