DIG Nalaka De Silva remanded till the 30th of January

COLOMBO (News 1st) - DIG Nalaka De Silva and the Indian national Marsili Thomas who were arrested in connection to the VIP assassination plot have been remanded till the 30th of this month. The order was issued after the duo were presented before acting magistrate Priyantha Liyanage. Meanwhile, the Prison superintendent informed courts that DIG Nalaka De Silva who is currently sick will be provided treatment at the prison hospital today (January 21). The court further ordered that DIG Nalaka De Silva be transferred to the National hospital if the doctors recommend further treatment.
