Six shops damages in a fire in Kaduruwela

Colombo (News1st): Six shops have been damaged due to a fire that broke out in Kaduruwela around 8.30 AM today (January 19). Police suspect that the fire erupted due to an electrical issue. Officers from the Polonnaruwa Municipal Council Fire Brigade have extinguished the fire. Meanwhile, a house was damaged by a fire that erupted in Kovilawatta, Panchikawatta last night (January 18). The Fire Brigade of the Colombo Municipal Council said several teams were deployed to douse the fire.
