10 Sri Lankan fishermen arrested by Maldives and India

Colombo (News1st): The Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources said that 10 Sri Lankan fishermen were arrested by authorities in Maldives and India.
The fishermen and their trawlers were taken into custody when they were facing technical difficulties.
It was noted that legal action has been taken against the suspects and they will be returned to the island within the next few days.
