University student protest obstruct Colombo - Ratnapura main road

Colombo (News1st): Students from the University of Sabaragamuwa have obstructed the Colombo - Ratnapura main road from the Hidellana area since this morning (January 17). They are opposing the visit of politicians to the university premises for the event to declare open the new medical faculty at the university of Sabaragamuwa. The President of the University Students Union Nissanka Gamage said the students have not been invited for this ceremony.
