Colombo (News1st): A group of naval personnel attached to the Northwestern Naval Command, during a raid, apprehended a suspect with 2kg of Kerala cannabis at Palaviya in Puttalam yesterday (January 16).

The arrest was made while the suspect was transporting the stock of cannabis by a three-wheeler.

The apprehended suspect along with the three-wheeler and the stock of cannabis was handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Bureau in Puttalam for legal action.
