Police rescue abducted businessman

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Three people have been arrested by the police in the Southern expressway when they were fleeing with a businessman they had abducted. The businessman has been identified as a resident of Ahangama. The Police confirmed that the three suspects, all residents of Hanwella were arrested and their vehicle was taken into custody. The reason for abducting the businessman has not yet been ascertained. The suspects and the seized vehicle have been handed over to the Ahangama Police for further investigation.
