"Ikazuchi" arrives at the port of Hambantota

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force ship ‘Ikazuchi’ arrived at the port of Hambantota on a goodwill visit. The ship was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy with a traditional naval ceremony. During the three days official visit, the ship’s crew is scheduled to visit popular tourist destinations. The crew is also due to participate in several special events organized by the Navy in a bid to enhance camaraderie between two forces.
