Four teams deployed to investigate Wattala shooting

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Four teams have been deployed to investigate the shooting that occurred last evening (January 13) in Hekitta, Wattala. The Police noted that the investigations will be carried out with the aid of CCTV footage. According to the preliminary investigation, the police revealed that the shooting had involved two criminal gangs involved in drug trafficking. Two people lost their lives in the shooting. The victims were aged 28 and 33 years. The Police noted that a group of people who had arrived at the location in a motor vehicle shot the two victims who were traveling in another vehicle.
