Drug rehabilitation waiting list crosses 100K

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Dangerous Drugs Control Board (DDCB) states that there are several issues regarding the lack of space in rehabilitation centers islandwide. Director in charge of Rehabilitation, Senior DIG Sirisena Herath noted that these issues have arisen due to the increasing number of raids conducted by divisional police units. He revealed that the people on waiting lists for rehabilitation have crossed over one hundred thousand at present. DIG Sirisena also said that among the identified individuals most of them are reportedly from the Colombo district.
