University protests causes traffic in Ward Place

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Heavy traffic congestion has been reported from Ward Place, Colombo due to a Sathyagraha launched by a group of university students. The Inter-University Students Federation launched the Sathyagraha opposite the University Grants Commission. The Sathyagraha which began this morning (January 07) is being carried out for several demands as the Federation is demanding to stop any curtailing of the number of students enrolled for several universities.
