Clashes break out at ITN

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A conflict has broken out at the premises of the Independent Television Network (ITN). The situation occurred when a group of employees had obstructed the entry of two deputy managers to the premises. The employees of ITN have been protesting over the last few days stating the misappropriation of fixed deposit owned by the networks. The management of the ITN had taken steps to suspend 13 employees who took part in these protests. The police and the anti-riot squad have also been deployed to contain the conflict.
