7 illegal gem miners arrested

Colombo (News1st): Seven illegal gem miners were arrested by police in Bagawanthalawa. They were given bail under the condition they appear before the court on the 08th of January.
The Police said the suspects aged between 22 and 76 are residents of Kotiyagala. The suspects had been apprehended last night (January 05) based on a tip-off received.
