470 drunk drivers arrested in Colombo on Dec. 31st

Colombo (News1st): The police has arrested 470 drunk drivers from the Colombo division on the 31st of December, 2018. Another 2236 had been arrested for traffic violations on the same day. Meanwhile, another 198 drivers have been charged with reckless driving. The Police said there was a drop in the number of accidents reported with the increase of operations. Accordingly, only three road accidents were reported in the country on the 31st of December, 2018.
