Over 100,00 affected due to adverse weather - DMC

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Disaster Mangement Centre (DMC) confirmed that over 10,000 people were affected by floods that occurred due to the continuous downpour in the Northern province. Assistant Director of the DMC Pradeep Kodippilli said that more than 100,000 people were affected by the adverse weather islandwide. He further added that relief programs are currently in operation with the assistance of the three armed forces.
