Narcotics Bureau apprehends two heroin suspects

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Police Narcotics Bureau confirmed that they have arrested a 51-year-old woman for the possession of over 52g of Heroin. She was arrested from Grandpass, Colombo based on a tip-off. Meanwhile, a second arrest was made from the same area where a 34-year-old suspect was arrested with 10g and 50mg of Heroin. 5g of ICE was also discovered from the suspect's possession. The suspect has been identified as a resident of Mattakuliya. The 34-year-old suspect is due to be produced before the Maligakanda Magistrates Court today (December 28).
