Vote on Account to be tabled in parliament

Colombo (News1st) - The Vote on Account to cover the expenditures of the first four months of 2019 will be presented in Parliament today by Minister of Finance Mangala Samaraweera. The Government's expenditure for the next 4 months has been set at Rs 1,765bn with a majority of it being allocated for debt servicing. Parliament will convene for the final time this year at 10.30am today (Dec 21). Parliament will convene once again on the 8th of January 2019.
