Colombo (News1st): An awareness session for unemployed graduates and diploma holders was conducted in Badulla yesterday (December 20).
Uva Provincial councilor Samatha Vidyarathna making a statement on the ongoing political crisis in the country stated that there are over 6000 unemployed graduates in the Uva province and the government has failed to provide solutions.
He noted that Maithripala Sirisena and Mahinda Rajapaksa tried to obtain power through a coup not to solve the problems of the people but to solve their personal problems.
Councilor Vidyarathna said though Ranil Wickremesinghe has come into power, it is still not a steady government as it is crippled.
The competition now is for the position of Opposition Leader. The councilor noted that the position should be given to the JVP because they are the real opposition.
