Colombo (News1st): The Ministry of Finance and Mass media issuing a statement said a Vote on Account to cover the expenditures of the first four months of 2019 will be presented to Parliament tomorrow (December 21).

It noted that Minister Mangala Samaraweera received the cabinet approval for the Vote on Account today (December 20).

The statement notes that the government’s expenditure for this period would be Rs. 1765 billion and from it Rs. 970 billion would be allocated for debt servicing. Accordingly, 55% of the Vote on Account will be allocated for government loan installments and interest payments.
