Five inmates escape from the Rambukkana Police station

COLOMBO (News 1st): Five inmates have escaped from the Rambukkana Police Station last night (December 18). The escaped suspects are between 23 to 25 years of age and were arrested in Kudagama earlier in the day for having 4 grams of Heroin in their possession. According to Police, the suspects made their escape when an officer attempted to bail out another suspect who was previously arrested on charges of selling drugs. Police have begun further investigations into tracking the suspects down.
