COLOMBO (News 1st) – A 35-year-old resident of Kurunegala has been apprehended by the Mahiyanganaya Police for forging letterheads of the Presidential Secretariat.

The Police confirmed that the suspect posing as a teacher had been issuing letters under the fake letterhead with the promise of offering scholarships.

The arrest was made upon a complaint lodged with the police.
