Investigations launched into Sapugaskanda shooting

Colombo (News1st) - According to the Police investigations are underway to locate the suspects connected to a shooting carries out along the Galwala road in Sapugaskanda last night. Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara noted that a 35-year-old was killed in the drive-by shooting which took place at around 8pm yesterday (Dec 12). The police noted that the shooting had been carried out by gunmen on a motorbike. The victim has been identified as Dhanushka Sajeewa a resident of Makola North. His remains are currently at the Kadawatha hospital.
