YES FM celebrates 25 years as #1 in SL Radio

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka's No. 1 Hit Music Station, YES FM, celebrated its 25th Anniversary today (December 10). YES FM took over Sri Lanka's radiosphere on December 10, 1993, at 6 am, playing a mix of contemporary music that targeted young music fans. Over the years YES FM has gone above and beyond the average radio station, delivering premium entertainment both on air and in live action, bringing down the likes of MLTR, Michael Bolton and even the Venga Boys -among other major artists. Starting at the pinnacle of Sri Lanka's radio sphere, the channel has gone from strength and continues to remain #1, moving from a hit music station to a hub for both entertainment and information. YES FM celebrated reaching their unique milestone earlier today at the Echelon Square in front of the Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct.
